Unlocking Wealth in Business

Today more than ever there seems to be a widespread feeling that the Spirit of the Lord is showing us that our walk with Him needs to be more practical. Gone are the days where believers hear the word of God and are unable to practically see it outworking in their lives, as fruit of what they have heard. One of the reasons for this is….’My people perish for a lack of knowledge…”

Revelation → Understanding → Manifestation (RUM)

Once we hear God’s word we need to receive understanding. When we receive understanding this will result in manifestation or fruit in our daily walk. We see from this little formula that without the bridge of understanding there will be no fruit or testimony of God in our lives.

How many times do we hear God’s word but don’t really understand what it means or how it applies to our personal lives? How do we overcome this? We simply seek the Lord and He will open up to us things which we may not understand.

Unlocking wealth in our business is a very similar process.

Many of us are parents and know what it is like when we aren’t able to give to our children the things they would like. God is the same with us – let’s use this simple exaBus images 2mple: You wouldn’t bless your 8 year old son or daughter with a top of the range sports car (as much as you would like to) because you know they may have an accident and cause serious damage to themselves. In the same way God allows us to have things when we are mature enough to use them.

The wealth in our businesses can be used the right way or the wrong way. Wealth in business is not only financial but also includes Godly peace and fruit which may be shared with others through, and in the business. God would like to unlock the wealth in our businesses but not if it’s going to harm our relationship with Him in any way. The answer: Seek God to understand how our businesses should be operated.

Our businesses should merely be an extension of our personal lives. Godly principles apply in our personal lives and therefore should apply in our business lives also. Too many of us leave our ‘spiritual hats’ off when we go to the work place and put them back on when we go to church or home cell! God will bless a business which operates within His government (principles). “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of Bus Images 4the ungodly, nor  standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper”.

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you”.

Greek translation shows us the word ASK means keep asking; SEEK means keep seeking and KNOCK means keep knocking. As we keep asking, seeking and knocking on a daily (or hourly) basis, God will give us understanding of how His principles work in our businesses. Once we have that understanding and are putting Godly principles into action throughout our businesses, God can then begin to unlock the wealth because He knows we will use it according to His will.

Remember, God loves to spend time with us. He wants to build up our personal relationship with Him and He permits things into our lives to cause us to “ask, seek and knock” .“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.”
Situations in our lives are designed to point us towards God always.Bus Image 3

Seek Him right now for understanding of His principles in your business so He can start to unlock the company wealth which can be shared with colleagues and customers alike. (Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost).
